Open to incoming 3rd–6th grade girls who reside in Sunnyvale or are eligible to attend Sunnyvale Schools

Proof of residency or enrollment will be required (utility bill, SISD report card, etc.)

Practices
-
Practices will begin late July 2026
-
1–2 practices per week

Each practice will be approximately 60-75 minutes

Practice days/times will be communicated once teams are formed

Practice times are subject to change based on facility availability
Practices will focus on fundamentals, routine learning, and performance preparation

Summer (July–August)

Kickoff practices begin late July

Focus on: Pom fundamentals, Technique, Learning first routine

Optional participation in local drill team camps

Fall (Football Season - primary performance season)

Perform at select home games and potential away games

Performances may be Spirit Line, Halftime or pregame (depending on scheduling)

Due to multiple teams and limited halftime time:

Performances will rotate at 3rd, 4th, 5th grade football games

Girls will sit together as a team during games

Community Events

Homecoming Parade (TBD)

Additional opportunities may include:

Local parades

City/community events

These events provide additional performance opportunities in a fun, low-pressure environment
Holiday Performance

Opportunity for the girls to showcase routines in a more structured performance setting

Game Day Expectations

Performances will be short, structured routines (~1–2 minutes)
